About the Role
Glenny Glass is hiring Working Department Supervisors to lead and work alongside their teams in one of our five departments: Cutting, Tempering, Fabrication, Insulated Glass, and Shipping. Supervisors are hands-on leaders who ensure daily operations run smoothly and team goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage team time and attendance in ADP.
- Evaluate employee progress bi-annually.
- Conduct daily team meetings and keep the team on task for daily throughput.
- Order and manage department materials.
- Track and manage daily incompletes.
- Learn to operate and troubleshoot all machinery in your department.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to handle conflict with and among employees.
- Positive, active leadership by example.
- Quality- and safety-oriented.
- Forklift operation (certification classes offered).
- Basic computer literacy.
- Be on your feet 8–10 hours/day.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- 2nd Shift: 4:30pm – 1:00am
- Shipping Shift: 6:30pm – 5:00am
- Shifts fluctuate 8–10 hours based on business needs.
- Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed.
